Desperate to tell everyone

The Magazine has gone on sale today so finally I can tell you all. I was lucky enough to win two prizes in the National Cardmaker of the Year Competition 2009.

Both of the cards, which were made especially for the competition will be available as templates, the Window Template which came third in the Lawrence Llewlyn Bowen Category is available at our website www.cutandcraft.co.uk and the house I designed for the Papermania Category, which won first prize, will be available shortly.

I have never won any competitions before so I was absolutely thrilled.

  4. Thanks for your lovely comments everyone. I am just putting the finishing touches to the house template and then we will be putting it out, I keep making loads of samples as I keep thinking of other things it could be used for. I am also tearing my hair out as I am trying to convert our templates to Wishblade/Robo files so that people who own these machines can use the templates - its a nightmare I have nearly thrown the machine in the bin three times already!!!!!

  5. Fantastic Nicky, well deserved.... your cards are delightful. We met at the NEC and discussed with you about cutting out on the Craft Robo. Maybe you remember? I adapt all the templates I've purchased from you, they are so very precise and well thought out, such a pleasure to make up. In fact, I'm just putting the finishing touches to a door for Mum-in-Law's Christmas. I've also done the drum-kit and a couple of fireplaces. They look magnificent and you can run wild with embellishments!
Keep up the good work Nicky, I can't recommend you highly enough.

  6. Hi Jackie

Yes I do remember talking to you at the NEC, I take my hat off to you, I have been pulling my hair out over converting these files to the Robo, I have nearly thrown the thing out of the window several times - I don't know how you do it. Thank you for your lovely comments, its always so nice to get positive feedback, I know how limited crafting funds can be and I would hate anyone to feel that they had wasted their money on our templates, I am definately a crafter first and a business woman second!!!! I hope you have signed up to the mailing list so that you get your free template at New Year. I am really excited about this one, I know I say it all the time but this is one of my favourites you can really let your imagination run wild!!!
